Day 2

Wow! Here we are at the end of day 2 a d it has been a truely blessed day! So here’s the dAily run down. The dY started for your truely at 6:30 for some rime alone walking the camp then coffee my some of my new camp councilor homies. So after the students started lining up for breakfast. Oh yes, they have to line up outside and they let em in 15 at a time. I’m not gonn lie, this is where being a grown up is actually cool ;P after breakfast we had another chance to hear the singers do thief thang. This time up it was small groups and trios. Again no CSM. While were on the subject, this WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN! (my fault) after which we had a really funny and heartfelt message from Bro Nohnny Pope. This time it was about Honoring your mother and father (and all the parents said…”amen”!) but joking aside is was a really good time. If you have never beard Johnny Pope you must hear him, there’s got to be a podcast or something. Maybe I will source and add to a future update (no promises). After the message we had lunch and a few orginized games (think challenges from CBS’s Survivor). Then it was free time till dinner and then back to head brother Pope preach. This time the sermon had a TOTALLY different feel. This time there was NO funny bussiness, it was very to the point, and the point was Salvation! The thrust of the message was…uhhh…the alternitive of going to Heaven. Praise God many young people came to know Christ as their saviour! Including 2 CSMers!!!! After the evening service a buch of student originized a sing along, they even got a some students from other churches. It was a great time of singing and praising. After that is was time to head back to the cabins for some general Tom-foolery, followed by devotions.

Well that pretty much does it for day 2. Continue to pray as God is already working in the hearts of our students.
